Bios

Elizabeth Simpson, Somers Class of '96, graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA in June 2000, where she double majored in International Business and French and minored in Political Science. At Lehigh, Liz was active with her sorority and various clubs and she traveled abroad to Paris where she studied at the Sorbonne for a semester. She currently works as a senior analyst with an investment bank in New York, NY. Liz's favorite memories of going to school in Somers include high school field hockey games under the lights on the varsity field, the Middle School trips to Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington, and playing on the Primrose playground.

Jenna Fidellow, Somers Class of ’96, graduated from Boston University in Boston, MA in May 2000 where she majored in Environmental Science and minored in Theatre Arts. She also spent a semester abroad in London, England to study theatre. She currently works at an Advertising agency in New York, NY. Jenna’s favorite memories of Somers include field days at SIS, upsetting Brewster in the Basketball sectional quarter-finals in ’95, and SHS proms.

Nicole Mynarski, Somers Class of '93, graduated from Bentley College in Waltham, MA in May 1997, where she majored in Economics/Finance. At Bentley, Nicole played Division 2 soccer and tennis for the Falcons. She studied abroad at Selwyn University in Cambridge, England. She currently works in investor relations for a global alternative investment and asset management company in New York City. At SHS, she played varsity soccer, tennis and basketball, and was also a member of the yearbook staff, Spanish National Honor Society and chorus.

Anna Timone, Somers Class of '95, graduated from Brown University in Providence, RI in May 1999, where she double majored in Mathematics and French. Anna was a special event producer with six years of experience in the theatre and events industry. In August 2005 she completed a dual MA in Teaching French and ESL at NYU. In February 2005 she was very proud to join the staff at Somers High School as a French teacher. She also enjoys coaching girls' soccer and basketball for Somers. Anna is the youngest member of the Somers Lions Club. Anna's favorite Somers memory is the 1995 girls' basketball game, Somers vs. Brewster, the biggest upset in this sport in Section 1 history. Somers played tough defense and beat Brewster 43-36. She also loved performing in Puttin' on the Hits at SIS, especially winning the bronze medal in 1988.

Tricia Miller, Somers Class of '96, graduated from Stonehill College in Easton, MA in May 2000, where she majored in Communications and minored in Psychology. She was also a member of the women’s soccer team for the Division 2 Lady Chieftains. She currently works as a television research analyst with a media buying agency in New York, NY. Tricia’s favorite memories of Somers include defeating Panas to make it to the soccer sectional finals in ‘96, and playing basketball and field hockey for the Tuskers.

Andrew George, Somers Class of '93, graduated from Georgetown University, D.C. in May of 1997, where he majored in Technical Management and Minored in Computer Science. A bit of an entrepreneur, Andrew has worked in several startups and is currently employed by a small, Manhattan-based, casual video game company. Andrew's favorite memories of going to Somers include playing varsity soccer, field day, and playing dodge ball in gym class.

Tom Zeni, Somers Class of '94, graduated from Mercy College, NY in May 2006, where he majored in Psychology. Tom began his graduate studies in I/O Psychology at Baruch University and is currently working on a Ph.D. at the University of Oklahoma. Prior to leaving NY, he worked in human resources at one of the world's most recognized companies, worked in retail management, as an information technology consultant, and owned a bar/restaurant. Tom's favorite memories of Somers include scooter-hockey, the "big ball push", theatre productions, and old friends.

Jessica Palmer, Somers Class of ‘94, graduated from SUNY Buffalo in Buffalo, NY in June 1998 where she majored in Communication Design. Jessica is currently a Web Designer for NBC-Universal in New York, NY. She is also the Chief Creative Director of her own graphic design company, called PlanitCreate™, for which she produces websites, logos, printed collateral, advertising and more, for a variety of businesses in the Tri-State area. Her most memorable moments at SHS involve football games, playing soccer, and spending time in the art department.
